ABOUT US
Sama AL-Naser Group
Based in Baghdad – Iraq, Sama Al-Naser Group grew from a small hospitality company to a multi-disciplined group in many fields: hospitality, real estate investments, IT solutions, and trading. With a dedicated team of more than 500 professionals in various fields, quality is our priority. Our resilience and dynamic vision have fueled our growth into multiple sectors and enabled us to carry out projects with both the private and the public sectors.
Our experience in the hospitality industry have enabled us to manage the largest and most luxurious 5-star hotel in Iraq, Royal Tulip Al-Rasheed Hotel. This hotel, extending over a land size of more than 70 acres and having a capacity of 450 rooms, falls in the center of the International “Green” Zone in Baghdad, hosting various high profile guests including international companies, NGO’s, diplomatic missions, and local government guests. The experience in managing such a large establishment in the complex Iraqi market has enabled us to enter into new frontier markets, with the investment in two renowned hotels in the heart of Barcelona, Hotel Do: Placa Reial and Hotel La Casa del Sol.
Real estate investments form a crucial part of our group. With investments in more than 15 commercial and residential properties, our real estate portfolio is diversified across UAE, Iraq, Canada, UK, Spain, Turkey, and Lebanon.
Realizing the potential opportunity in Information Technology (IT) and its inevitable adoption in all fields, our group has expanded into this vibrant field with projects carried out with both the private and public sector. We have developed the first telemedicine and telehealth mobile application in Iraq, Tadawy, which virtually connects patients across the country with experienced doctors. We are also working strategically with the Ministry of Telecommunications to carry out automation and digitization projects across various Iraqi Government entities, such as the adoption of Learning Management Systems (LMS) with the Ministry of Education.
In addition to the above activities, our groups has been an active importer of the Georgette fabric for the Iraqi market, which is crucial to use in the traditional Iraqi dress. We have strategic partnerships with the most important exporters and suppliers in this fabric in Japan and UAE.
